Quick break from hiatus

To say CONGRATULATIONS John and Laura Kheir on their little Elisabeth! She was born yesterday morning, and weighed an astounding (but relatively unsurprising) 9.1 pounds! Mother and baby are both doing well! I haven't seen them yet but hopefully will have time to visit soon!! Here is the picture Mom sent out from the hospital:
