Well, it turns out our lovely new apartment is full of lead paint. And, under Massachusetts law, since we've got little Eden, the landlord has to de-lead it. No word yet on how long that will take, but it certainly does mean that painting this weekend is out. Hopefully it will be done by the time we were planning to move... but that only gives them two weeks. Including Easter weekend. If it's not done by the end of the month, though, we're pretty screwed - we're out of this place as of March 31. Not sure what we'd do with ourselves, our cat, and all of our stuff at that point. I suppose we'll just cross that bridge when we get there, as they say.
The good news is, they might have to remove the bright orange and green paint from the moldings (which the landlord said we couldn't touch...). Nice!

Praying for you. Let us know how we can help! As we've been waiting to know when we'll move, I keep hearing God say, "I'm not worried about it, love. I know what's best for you, and I've got it all figured out. Just trust and wait." :-)
