Hello, Due Date.

Dear June 9, 2008:

I didn't really think I'd be greeting you with a giant watermelon-belly, but here I am. And here you are. And if I have the "average" 12-14 hour labor, I suppose you won't get to see my little girl, since she seems to be quite content right where she is. That's unfortunate for you, because she's going to be beautiful, and I know you've been looking forward to it for the past 40 weeks. I guess she just wanted a double-digit birthday. Sorry about that!

So instead of having a baby I am apparently going to study Constitutional Law for the bar exam, by listening to a very, very boring professor on my BarBri iPod, then study flash cards with a friend (who is studying for a different exam), and then watch The Bachelorette. Enjoy the last 12 1/2 hours of your existence. I will!

Love,
KT

oh Katie! You never know, my sister had a 4 hour labor so it could still happen! I check your blog nearly 4 times a day to see if you've met Eden yet :) Can't wait until the big day!

sometime patience really stinks. but you see lil'E knows her Mama is gaining more knowledge by allowing her time to study. Once she arrives the study time will be interrupted by hunger pains and poopy pants. we're eagerly waiting just as you. keep us posted sweet Mama.

Allie's comment cracked me up! I bet your visit counter has shot up this past week. We're all walking beside you. So thankful for your peace... You make me smile!
