Well, God had other plans.
Yes, folks. I'm pregnant!
I'm 11 weeks tomorrow, though I look about 16 weeks (not kidding). Little Peanut is due January 31, 2011. I've blogged-but-not-published a couple of post about this, so feel free to read up (just scroll down). It's been a bit of a crazy ride already, which I suppose shouldn't be surprising, given the surprising nature of the pregnancy to begin with!
Our first OB appointment is next week, though I've already seen my primary care physician and had two ultrasounds (read the earlier-drafted posts for all of that). I'm excited to hear a heartbeat on Thursday and, beyond that, to get the heck OUT OF THE FIRST TRIMESTER!
Let's just say, it's VERY different being pregnant while working in a demanding job than it was while I was a 3L!! But it's still amazing. I am feeling little movements already (yeah, I know) and just knowing that our little one is growing in there is such a magical feeling.
And, for the record, Bryan wants another girl - but I think it's a boy. And so far I'm 100% on these things. :)

SO happy for you! I'm already planning fun and unique ways to spoil this new little bundle of joy...love you all! Hope you start feeling better soon.
yay! so glad we can finally talk about this out in the open...especially since it's becoming a little obvious with that cute little belly you have! i can't wait to meet this precious little one. and for the record, i think it's a girl. :)
Congratulations! There's definitely something in the water this year... I feel like everybody I know is pregnant! Haven't read the other posts yet, but I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly.
okay so I just re-read all the posts for a second time and yayayayayayay!!!! i'm so super thrilled for you. Two is so much fun and Eden will LOVE being a big sister. YAYYAY! Congratulations and here's to a calm non-sick next two trimesters.
PS we were shocked blown out of the water freaking out alarmed and excited when we found out Caroline was coming. In fact, i still look at her and I think, WOW. I can't believe she's here and she's mine. Two months prior to conceiving her I had just started giving over our next child to God--trusting Him with his/her birthday and not getting my pants in a wad about when he/she would arrive--to just let God decide and that this baby would be a servant of God. I kept that prayer up multiple times a week or even days...and then, WHOA i was pregnant. I still feel like Caroline is set apart by God as it was only in His plans and not in man's! So YAY for #2 babies
Congrats! I read all your pregnancy-related posts below. Man, a lot can happen in a week. Didn't realize Eden was 8 lbs 10 oz at birth! Phew. Anyway, what an amazing testament to sovereign grace and perfect providential timing ;-)
May I ask what time during 3L you had your first? I am an aspiring 3L (as is apparent by my oh-so-creative name, ha) and I was wondering if you had any advice for when a "good" time would be.
CONGRATS on #2, too. ;)
Congrats! We're so excited for you guys. I can't wait to see the baby bump when we're back in town in Nov! Praying for a smooth and comfortable (if that exists?) pregnancy.
Yea! It's out! :) I've been thinking about you every day, counting down the days until trimester two! And I've been praying for you as you deal with the difficulty of work through your pregnancy. As you know, my first trimester coincided with the busiest season of my job, so I can definitely relate! You'll make it! (I think working makes the 9 months go quicker actually...but then I don't know what it's like on the other side.) LOVE TO YOU AND YOURS!
