Keeping the cat out of the crib

Read online about how to discourage your cat from sleeping in the baby's crib or bassinet, and you'll almost always get the same advice. Line it in foil. The cat will jump in, be annoyed by the foil, and jump out, and he'll not do it again. Turns out our little Nino doesn't so much mind it, apparently (sorry the picture is rotated funny. Blogger keeps turning it and I'm not sure why):

All it does is wake us up when he jumps in. Any other ideas?

It looks like you had a fabulous weekend! I so wish we could have been there to celebrate your baby shower with you but the pictures are wonderful!

Thanks for the foil tip for the cats and cribs. If Churchill and Maggie are anything like Nino, it won't work either...hmmm...let us know if you find another good idea :)

Oh! and I cannot believe your ticker says 27 days to go. That is soooo crazy but so exciting!
