Are there any happy lawyers?
I stumbled across this post at Corporette over my Chex this afternoon (yes, cereal for lunch - whatever, I love it!). I skimmed a few comments and it's really fascinating to see people's take on what they enjoy about their jobs. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, so it's very timely for me.
Anyone else have ideas? What do you love about your job?

You're a happy lawyer, right? I think the major trade-off in the legal world is happiness v. money. One could work for a major law firm, earn top-dollar and have an insanely demanding work schedule that leaves little time for anything else. Or one could work for a lower-paying, but less demanding organization. I'm sure there are happy lawyers. I'm less sure that there are happy "biglaw" lawyers (who are also sane). Although you seem to work crazy hours but still love your job. There's always an exception ;-)
